A minor gripe with the WUBI-installed Ubuntu... the space available cannot be made "dynamic". I know if I install Ubuntu on the machine properly then I can only have as much space as I give it, but I would have envisioned that something that resides inside a file on another filesystem would have the potential to "expand". As an example, on my laptop I have a 160GB HDD. I opted for 15GB when I installed Ubuntu via WUBI... now I am wishing that I could use some more space. Now, I know I could do this manually be creating a new large, blank file on the NTFS filesystem and giving the file a Linux filesystem, then loopmounting it, rsyncing some part of the existing Linux filesystem hierarchy (/home, for example) to it, then editing the fstab to have it mounted upon boottime... but this is not something for the faint hearted. With major computer vendors stipulating that replacing the pre-installed Windows OS invalidates their warranty, having a dynamically resizable WUBI-based Linux install would be great for many users.
