I must confess I haven't actually looked at prices on this - and if I switch my brain on and think I can hear Nelson Bunce off to one side. However as a pathetic excuse I could argue that if I have a motherboard that can only take 2G ram then a couple of gig SSD would help if you do silly simulations like me from time to time or even 3d animations. I guess that wouldn't count for 64 bit motherboards tho....
