As an example Virginmedia used cached DNS, and web-caches of common
pages. The latter can be a pain in the bum, especially if we (when I
worked for NTL) had a customer who had updated their website and the old
version was stuck in the web-cache. However www.tremonthouse.co.uk
loaded fine for me first time, which suggests DNS has updated here
already and the web-cache is OK. With other ISPs as Charlie says YMMV.

Kind regards,

Julian
