Anton If you're using it in "simple" mode, rather than the advanced mode which is very much a standard KDE GUI, you can get a terminal session by cntrl-alt-t. In the advanced mode the consul session is in the menu someplace (don't have the gizmo on me at the moment). This is an article on enabling the advanced mode http://wiki.eeeuser.com/howto:getkde. eeeuser is a really useful forum and I'd recomend any eeepc user to sign up.
