The only issues I had were the trackpad (easily resolved) and the wireless - not so easy as it was not built in so I had to get the Cardbus slot to work - that was a Texas Instruments problem though. Overall installation went very smoothly though and I have no idea why Ubuntu would misbehave. What's the actual spec on the machine? Is this it? Ebay item 170142458542.
