GPS != sat nav

For geocaching you are looking for co-ordinates of something 
interesting, how you get to those co-ordinates is up to you, unless you 
use a navigation system. For a gps receiver and linux you will not have 
any navigation features, with gpsdrive you can overlay things on maps or 
just look at Long/Lat position but there is no auto routing so that 
should make the whole experience a lot more fun as it requires user 
thought and decisions!
