Shall we have a go at some wording for:

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/new

?

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to...

reject Microsofts request for 'Open XML' as an ISO standard

More Details: (1000Chars)

There is already a standard that covers this - Open Document Format.

Any additional standard will cause confusion and cost the government and the taxpayer considerably more in the long run

Duration: 2 Months

Short Title: No to MSOOXML!

Category: Information and Communication

regreting this already..
