Some 25 years ago (creak groan strange smells) I used to use a graphics pad on 
a CAD system that had a lot of symbols inbuilt and you could also teach it 
others. Very Very useful and a lot lot faster/safer than shortcuts or menus! 
Thanks for reminding me - I might just have a play with some javascript stuff 
later!
