I'm sure there are many people who would prefer to think of it as...
"Why not use Mandriva as a server ?"

Anyway, thats not the point.. the point is he installed Mandriva as a
desktop environment, so thats wht he is running the servers/daemons on.
Not everyone can afford the luxury of multiple PC's clogging up a spare
room.
