At this point, about 24 hours before release, it shouldn't have any bugs
like that :(

However that does sound like a kernel problem (or hardware) to me. So I
suspect you might see the same with other distros. Apparently the
drivers was written without vendor co-operation<sigh>.

Sounds plausible, there were updates to the camera driver in 2.6.10 and
2.6.11
