How about LUG - Linux Users Group - as I don't have the time to read all the erudite preachings of persons with too much time on their hands.
Alternatively You could all form a 'NAME Sub-committee' with a separate e-mail address reporting back in 2011 and free the space for the other users.
How about meeting in Newquay or Truro sometime

Untrue. Restricting choice will make it utterly impossible to make GNU/Linux open and accessible to all. One system will NEVER fit all, neither will half a dozen.



If you read what I said, you will realise at no time was I arguing against choice, neither was arguing for a "one size" solution. That is your gloss.
