Very hard to say without more clue what you are doing (I mean we can see your building a webcam driver from source....). Is there even a makefile in "/lib/modules/2.6.5-7.111-default/build" as that error would occur even if you hadn't unpacked or prepared the build environment correctly. Seems an odd place to put a build directory to me!
Its common to have a symlink from /lib/modules/whatever/build to the kernel source of "whatever". I think this was introduced in 2.6 as part of the effort to not end up with a "linux" symlink in /usr/src/ that pointed to the kernel source as this caused chaos if you have more that one kernel source and kernel installed -- Robin Cornelius --------------------------------------------------- robin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx GPG Key ID: 0x729A79A23B7EE764 http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x729A79A23B7EE764
