Wouldn't know, cable isn't available in my locality.

Has to be self install, I have to connect a modem/router so that the

ALWAYS a router. Don't even consider a modem - can't be shared without leaving 
a PC running and support is always a problem.

broadband can be shared. USB no good since I can't leave a PC on.

Neither is a modem. Router only.
