[LUG] Re: MS-TNEF

Can anyone tell me how to unpack M$-TNEF (transport neutral encapsulation format) on Linux ? and (optionally) does it do anything useful that MIME
base64 doesn't ?

I sometimes get mail from someone who uses a M$ mailer and it batches up
files in tnef. tnef unpacks them and converts them back to gif, txt, etc
for you to read. tnef just does it without telling you what the files are
so you have to do ls -lt or the like to find out what you've got. good luck
