I think the consensus has emerged.
It is made up of those who feel strongly and want it, those who don't care but 
want to meet, and those who think that a reasonable case may be made for the 
name, and a reasonable case might be made for not changing the names of 
things that have been recognised by their old name even if it is not wholly 
accurate.

The first group should recognise their wishes are being deferred to in a 
polite fashion by the others, and reciprocate.
