difficulty retrieving a network allocation via DHCP.It is an issue with the 
router,but I have neither the time nor inclination to pursue it,since I never

I dunno...perhaps I'll "ring the bloke" and tell him his routers work 
"perfect" under GNU/Linux?

alterations to network decive eeproms (MS pretty much admit that bit) that
then makes said devices somewhat less than optimal under linux.

Linux at least connects to the LAN instantaneously.Mmmm..don't have any
games,though.

How about turning my flat into a Linux Cyber Cafe instead?Or a Linux
drop-in centre?
