Nova must have been having a good day when I asked ;)

"nova" + "good day"

Too big! The full mirror is about 100GB,

ouch

picking only "i386", and
"free" (and no source at the moment - well we will see how much disk
space is left), should save a LOT, but we only have 38GB of spare
space on the box we are using - so fingers crossed.

well mark lang is coming into some money, and he has an oc3 lying around....
lol

biggest (tech) mistake of my life (so far) was meeting him just after he got
his bank loan and thinking "1.5 pence a minute for 14.4k? never fly..."

We probably won't mirror userlinux.com, but hopefully we will have
some bandwidth on the day.

Debian mirrors seems relatively easy to set up, but I guess we'll
discover the tricky bits when it is finished downloading and we come
to test it.

mmm, must admit with relatively few computers and cable I just use remote
mirrors, what's a few hundred megs nowadays.

sucks not to be in sweden getting 100 mbit tho.

My first Knoppix to harddisk install - fairly easy.

"fairly easy"
c'mon, only thing on the planet easier is the mepis/debian install...

Trivial program of the day -- cacafire -- come home to an ascii fire ;)

"caca" being kiddie spanish for "shit", hmmmm
