Re: [LUG] IBM draws first blood in SCO Linux battle

I have heard that Microsoft are buying SCO licences. If true perhaps thats where the money comes from. Dont lets forget however that if code has been stolen then SCO deserve to win. One local company has had a battle with IBM over voice software. It can happen even if not intentional theft.

FUD precisely. The whole of SCO's ranting is smoke and mirrors.

Whether it is all smoke and mirrors still remains to be seen. But from reading
the reports on the hearing, it reads as if SCO don't actually know what code
they are claiming that IBM misappropriated. That simply means that if they
are wrong in anyway then IBM will counter sue and that will be the end of
SCO.
SCO will pay the ultimate price for being complete arseholes hopefully, and
that price will be IBM taking complete and utter control of their company as

Assuming there is any part of SCO IBM actually wants...

there's no way they'll be able to raise enough cash to pay for bills.

Alternative senario SCO go bankrupt and their executives get sued
by any third party shareholders.
