Ask here for relatively simple stuff.

Yes there are some Linux people in North Devon, and Somerset, and
compared to travelling up to London and the like for work I'm sure I and
others, Nick, maybe Ylem, are interested in possible work, even if it is
a few miles aways. Theo works at an ISP that isn't afraid of Linux. I
know several other companies with Linux hosting, a lot of them on Cobalt
Raq servers, and some don't need to know that much to get basic web
server stuff going as a result.

Not that I can recall immediately, but we are an informal lot, you can
even call your own meeting if you can supply a venue, and a reason to
turn up other than solving your problems (beer, and chat is usually a
sufficient).

I know Exeter University were doing some, and we met the technical guy
who was teaching some of them, he was competent, and knowledgable, but I
haven't seen him recently, but there is plenty of know-how at the Uni.

It was fairly reasonably priced compared to training from the likes of
HP, SUN or Oracle, but not cheap training.

We are always promising to make a list of Linux training in Devon.
