Exactly, don't worry about it Peter. I use KMail and I will eventually upgrade 
to the new version that can verify these attached sigs. If I am particularly 
concerned and want to check (usually only with an unfamiliar key) I save the 
message, load up Ximian and import it. Simple. I'd much rather that those who 
want to sign emails sign them in whichever format they prefer. I'll catch up, 
some time. :-)
