System.Web support in mono is still very basic. In the last few weeks there have been a fair bit of work to add Webservice support, and now has a basic webserver that can run on it's own. There is an apache module, mod_mono, still in CVS that has some basic support for runing asp.net under apache bear in mind that VB support is apprently nowhere near as good as the C# support (which actually really raawks now), however, i have no idea of VB.net in mono, i'm only a C# (kind of - see my next mail) whore ;) for the day we can all support vb + ASP.net on apache is not that *far* away, but will still be a few months .... Take a look at <http://www.go-mono.com/asp-net.html>, for more information on ASP.NET support in mono, and it's status. ~ Theo - -- Theo Zourzouvillys <theo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <http://theo.me.uk/> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Proe448CrwpTn6YRAq+XAJ9tsEMIPFKjK/quUnPMAejed+5xMwCdHC8L MpYD7Cz8yk8rHIrXiguyPvA= =46Zl -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
