I know zilch abbout database GUIs.  But I know they exist: every package
manager on Linux or FreeBSD offers me a selection of them.  If I wanted
one, I'd just install and test-drive it.

Forget the underlying database engine, and just pretend the GUI "is" the
database, if you want a windows-lookalike.
