I'm working on an online survey on the DCLUG site that should be ready by the 15th. It's set to ask members about venues, topics, hosting, available days. Further additions will allow DCLUG website members to create an agenda for a meeting online, identify possible members able to arrange a venue, identify possible topics and presenters and some of the best dates for most of the interested members. Once a host is willing to arrange a venue, I'll have a script to output a public page (outside the members area for everyone to see) giving details of the agenda so far, people to contact for more info, topics, date, venue, and other little bits. I'm hoping it will allow members to arrange meetings on a much more sporadic basis, over a wider area of the region and much more frequently than previously.
