corrupt disk, buggy kernel/fs code somewhere, or if it's on the internet
directly, a possibility it's been hacked (though i don't see why disk would
show up like that, unless you have a *fast* net connection, and someone's
running an ftp server).

64k ISDN, no unusual light activity on the TA
