[LUG] Suspend / resume

I have come across an annoying issue and wandering if anyone else has
experienced the same.

When my computer goes in to suspend mode (APM) all is fine, but
sometimes when resuming the computer  looses track of the keyboard and
mouse, if i force suspend mode (press power button) and resume (same) it
recovers.

Has anyone come across this and if so did you get around it ?
