Besides I thought Home highway users were suppose to call 0800
525 111 not 154....

Many many people use isdn in a business environment. Hence the high volume
of calls to Business faults.
All faults get passed to a "specialist" team but the first port of call is
my colleagues & myself (lucky us)

Scott Adams dedicates a whole chapter to the vaguaries of ISDN
and how badly thought out it is.

In the Dilbert Future ? Very very funny

When someone calls in with an isdn/isdn2 or home highway problem a line test
is performed automatically.
It's called an IFETS test. We usually refer to it as "If Ets working" check
the setup.
