G'day John,

You will either need to compile cpqarray in statically or use initrd to mount it.

I compile it statically, I see no benefit it making it a module, why would you want to unload the code that lets you access your disks... ;-)
Hmmm, unless you had to pass params to the module

the hammer. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Nope, that made no difference. In this case it was '/dev/ida/c0d0p5'.
