In my experience Wiki smells of cheese and has locking badly implemented. At Parasol, we use CVS for multi-person authoring, though the conflicts are painful if you edit the same paragraph, which seems to be the diff unit. A doc management project we wrote recently for Novartis used WebDAV. DAV is new and growing and a bit rough roud the edges. It does seem to be well though ut. One of our consultants is part of the standards committee and knows a lot about the whole things.
