RE: [LUG] pop3 mail
I first thought it was the address for the pop3 server being wrong, but its
not.
Sounds like name server lookups are not working, or not set up. Go to your
fav shell, and type... (When connected)
nslookup pop.freeserve.net
If that comes back with some IP addresses, then its something else, to which
I can't guess. If it doesn't come back with an IP address, you probably
only need to stick freeserve's nameserver IP addresses into /etc/resolv.conf
to get it going. (They are 195.92.195.94 and 195.92.195.95)
