Pete - don't use mix = it's crap!

Better way is to use vnc on the linux box and the windows client - gives
you a single window with an entire X desktop in it, running the window
manager of your choice, e.g. WindowMaker, etc.

Clients are available for Windows, Mac, Unix - t the server even sets up
it's own webserver (on a different port obviously) with a java client on
it, so you can control a box from your web browser.  It's all password
protected (which is secure), but the connection itself isn't encrypted
(which isn't).  ON the other hand as your network is probably a bit of
cable from here to there, this isn't much of an issue.

Search freshmeat for it - I can't be arsed to find the URL at the moment
as our connection is pants.
