RE: [LUG] partition sizes

Hi,

Not to sure about the printing problem, as I'm still running Redhat 6.0, by
my partition sizes are...

* Switches operating systems and types df *

Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb6 204913 117459 76872 60% /
/dev/hdb10 256119 3096 239795 1% /home
/dev/hdb7 51200 37 48519 0% /tmp
/dev/hdb9 973098 573157 349669 62% /usr
/dev/hdb8 204913 10600 183731 5% /var

My swap partition is about 127mb. The / partition includes the root
directory which is full of source code. Linux on my system is only taking
about 1.6Gb. You say quite correctly making /usr quite big is a good idea.
Believe me, its damm annoying when you run out of space!
