[LUG] LDE: The Aftermath

Well as you should know the Linux Day Exeter was yesterday, in well...
Exeter.

Big thanks go to Simon and Faye for the organising of the event, and also
(if memory serves correctly) to Neil and Gary from the University for
sorting out the rooms.

As a result of the day the lug-list membership has increased to 72 members,
with Ross joining just last night.

I would rate the day as a success, I know that I enjoyed it and I hope
everyone else did too.

The one lecture of the day I made it to (Simon's wireless networking one)
was very interesting and I have heard that the others were also pretty good.
So another thanks goes to the guest speakers.

This starting to sound like I've won an award doesn't it? I'll stop
rambling then.

Suffice to say that if you missed it, you missed a good day and missed me
making a fool of myself completely misinterpreting a question in the open
discussion and making a meal of drawing the raffle. Congrats to all the
winners too.

Hurrah!
