If it's three dead fans then possibly, but I suspect it excludes the
chance it might be a memory failur - it's easy to check both though.
Perhaps you could boot from a live stick unrelated to the Debian
family? There's a live Slackware USB image which comes up in a GUI. If
that stays up you'll have the problem area isolated.
