Hi All
Just trying to tie up a loose end from a while back.
I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts to this idea from Julian. I
think it may be a good way to raise funds to cover costs of hosting, or
at least help to. But longer term it puts some funds in a pot for if we
ever want to do an install fest and or face to face meet up, it could
help cover room hire and any other costs.
The latter is clearly some way off, but I think if we want to ensure we
have solid infrastructure,

Might I suggest an
intermediary of sorts, such as a bank account in the DC GLUG name with
access restricted to maybe three people and registration paid from it?
Possibly linked to a non-personal postal address ' DC GLUG, PO Box
XXXXX' to which more than one person has access? That way if there is a
problem for one person another can resolve it.
