I keep 1" decorator's and a 1/4" artist's paint brush (one of
each) specifically for cleaning computers. As you say, catharsis plays
a part in the process.
In a similar (but very off-topic) way, I find getting my teeth cleaned
by a dental hygienist to be cathartic, too.
I know, I'm a sick, sick man. :-)
