Just updated Debian testing and did not notice offlineimap was going to be
removed (..python3)

Does anyone recommend a programme similar to offlineimap? That will play
nicely with

-	Mutt on one one side
-	office365 in the cloud on the other

Stumbled across this from a new packages bug on Gentoo's bugzilla - https://guilhem.org/interimap/ . Similar dilemma .. distro is axing all python2 packages slowly ..

Ok so that's a thing, but did you notice it's dated 2016 ?! Surely after 4 years it would be tried and tested....

A bit more digging, and in the interests of being constructive ..

https://github.com/OfflineIMAP/offlineimap3 does indicate that offlineimap is in maintenance-only mode (see "Project status and future")

so, checking out https://github.com/OfflineIMAP/imapfw which seems to be a Thing.
