The system also badly needs a reflash, just look here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z170%20Extreme4/?cat=Download&os=BIOS You're on v2.80 from last year according to your dmidecode output from before - they're up to 7.20 now and that is a *lot* of updates, some of which conspicuously include updates to the "EZ" interface itself.
