Check your ~/.mozilla/plugins directory. Mine has:

libflashplayer.so -> /home/gordon/flash/libflashplayer.so
libjavaplugin_oji.so -> 
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.22/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
libnpjp2.so -> /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.22/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
nphelix.so -> /var/home/gordon/RealPlayer/mozilla/nphelix.so
nphelix.xpt -> /var/home/gordon/RealPlayer/mozilla/nphelix.xpt

Maybe there are 2 different flashplayer links in there?
