Hi I've added these entries to my Ubuntu server /etc/crontab 1 23 * * * /opt/cronjob/startme 1 7 * * * /opt/cronjob/stopmeI want the first job to start at 2301hrs and the second job to start at 0700hrs.
Have I missed something? They didn't seem to run last last night :(My understanding of Debian/Ubuntu crontab is that I don't have to run "crontab" or similar tool to reread the changed file, it just works...
Cheers MartinPS: I've run both scripts manually and they run as expected including writing to a log file to document whether they ran at all.
