Well you only need to look at the ads for an example of this,  the bloke
is installing an alarm system and was given the wrong type of ladder, if
he was qualified, and competent, he would refuse to do the job due to
lack of correct equipment and I am sure employment law allows this as in
they can't exactly sack you for refusing to do a job if the wrong
equipment is supplied. Doesn't Health and safety law say that the
correct equipment MUST be supplied, it is may be up to the person doing
the job to actually use it properly,  But you can be escorted off
building sites if you are not wearing a helmet, boots and hi vis jacket)
