I believe that you would find that is covered under the data "protection" act and thus while everybody can ask for your details via your car licence plate number you are not allowed to know who asked ;-) Actually this is nothing new to me, about 2 years ago I parked in the Tesco's car park in Axminster for (20 minutes). I got a very nasty letter about over staying (30 minutes alloted) and next time they would charge blah blah blah..... Their "fool proof" camera system must have clocked me coming in and failed to clock me out again... The ONLY way they could have got my address was if the DVLA had handed it over .... At the time I was furious .......
