There is an article explaining NTP in the Feb issue of Linux Format - pg 70
(well it's pg 70 of the dvd issue anyway).

No, but  rdate seems to run fine on the SuSE 7.0 machine I have and set
the
rest of teh network from at the office, and although it isn't on teh 7.2
server here,

 /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp.phys.uu.nl

works.
