[LUG]Re: Bits and pieces.

Thanks but no thanks. I've lived with this for a couple of years and every dot and cross has been checked.  I'm trying to get some bits of eqpt to the 'right' people and that's all thanks

I am sure you have been told, but if not PLEASE

- Update your Will and please remember passwords https://memories.step.org/

- Make it clear what your funeral will look like: it is I am told REALLY easy to upsell, costs
vary from £500 for basics up £3,500 for a salesmans "proper send off" to god knows
if you want dancing elephants. When my sister died we had three weeks of gibbering whether the coffin
should be oak or veneer, or whether the handles should be solid brass or .. I cant remember except that
she was cremated and I could not see the point of arguing

- Do / check lasting powers of attorney https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney.
If your wishes are complicated see a solicitor and make sure the bank knows what is
happening. Make sure your doctor knows about the LPA

- Make sure paperwork for pensions etc is in place. One pension company wanted
the original birth and marriage certificate..

- Make sure the wife has 3-5 copies of the death certificate

I can provides names of solicitors if required,

You do not want sympathies, but please accept thanks for all the help provided over
the years..
