[LUG]Re: Computer not finding boot drive

At startup, press F11 for Boot menu. Select the disk you've installed to. This is 
essentially telling your motherboard's firmware, please boot from this disk on this 
occasion (one-off).

If this works as expected, make the change permanent:
1) reboot
2) press F2 or delete to run UEFI Setup
3) find the startup disk / primary boot device in the menu options and ensure that 
the motherboard is configured to boot from the disk that you've installed the 
operating system onto.

It probably doesn't matter which SATA slot the drive is plugged into. I remember 
there was a time when it did make a difference (Parallel ATA) but, now, drives are 
likely to be referenced to by a unique ID.
