I do use it every day. HP preferred, because I know them a bit, but have also

Brother are well supported by Linux.
We have a mono laser here and it "just works".
(My older HP2575 inkjet still works too, but I got fed-up wasting more
money with refilled/clone cartridges that I went back to the more expnsive
HP ones and not had any issues since)
