Ah, I assume you're talking about the DCP-L2520DW, which does have a
scanner function, Brother seem to be pretty operable with Linux as a
whole it seems, and not as pricey as some of the HP stuff.
Though if I get a new printer I would probably go for a Colour Laser
next time, I print relatively little, but what I do print I appreciate
it if it looks good quality.
I don't scan all that much, just the occasional signature on a document
when required etc...
