Hi, I keep finding slides my late father did stretching back to the '70s, and borrowed a friend's stand alone slide copier. One issue to be wary of with old slides; the mounts are varying thicknesses. As a result the alignment of some scans is questionable as they had to be forced through. You're better off with a flatbed scanner and a template to hold the slides in place.
