Re: [LUG] Ufraw raw image programme

Thanks Grant. The alt key worked in other windows but not this one! You did help me to notice that in other applications I have 3 little buttons in the top right hand corner, the minimise etc buttons but in that window I only have 2?

Hi All

I have a bizarre problem that I can't describe. I am using ufraw to edit raw images. When I open an image the programme sits below the dock and so I cannot get to various buttons. I thought I would auto-hide the dock but the programme then makes itself even longer.

See the above image for an idea of what is happening.

Many thanks

Rich

I don't know if the following is something that was typically implemented in the window manager (in which case it may or may not work for you) or implemented in X (in which case it is likely to still work):

Hold the ALT key, then click anywhere is the window that isn't a button or text field or other interactive element, and move the whole window around. This behaves much like dragging the window title for moving windows around, but means you can move things even when you don't have access to the title bar.
