I rarely use it anyway,thanks NeilIn KDE plasma desktop goto System Settings -> Personalisation_>Applications-> Default Applications->Open http and https urls and set "In the following browser". Put the launch location of your new default browser in the box. ie. in my system /usr/bin/firefox %u.I believe Gnome and some other desktops have a similar method in their System Settings.Keith
