Unless it's disconnected for reasons of top-super-secret security or
something, I'd definitely go with just tethering it to the cellphone -
sorting out dpkg for offline updates is a pain. Stick it in the car and
take it home as option 2 in case that doesn't work for some reason or
the data bill would be too ruinous.
